Performance Analytics

The solution provides actionable sales performance indicators for executive management along with detailed view of the key indicators. The objective is to provide Sales and Marketing heads with region and product-line-wise operational figures such as Actual Sales, Margin (Contribution), Net Sales Volume, alongside projection figures like Planned Sales, Market Potential etc., and compare trends across time. Drill-down is enabled to track these metrics at granular levels (specific to a product or a location).


Stock Analysis

The solution monitors the daily sales and goods dispatched and tracks what is the balance remaining from the opening stock for stock management and demand planning.


Analysis of MOUS

The solution analyzes the actual sales vis--vis contracted sales volume in MOU, by region, product, and warehouses - for a customer, to track "Lift" - i.e. actual quantity delivered to a customer compared to quantity as per MOU. This Lift in turn is used to calculate the discount to be given for the MOU customers.


Material Consumption Analysis

The solution provides an integrated view of the plant operations to the top management including plant heads. The operational indicators tracked are Plant-wise investment (consumption of raw material), return (production of finished goods) and % Yield (ratio) for different types of products (Prime, Non-Prime, Off Grades) and class (Pellet, Powder).


Pricing Analytics

The solution analyzes international market price for the different raw materials of production in different markets, to understand the trend and impact on the margin/profit. The solution tracks price trends for different products (raw materials) in international market.


Optimizing the Product And Market Mix

The business case for this Optimization model is to decide the optimum sales mix (which product to be sold in which market in which quantity) of maximize profit (or contribution). This provides recommended (optimum) Sales quantities for a specific product (Grade) for a specific sales location (Market) to maximize profit (Contribution). The model outcome is shown in the dashboard which shows recommended sales quantities against planned sales quantities, by Grades and By Markets.


Production Sequencing

The Optimization model recommends the optimum sequence of producing different products in the production assemly lines / trains that maximizes profit / contribution by minimizing various costs (shortfall / inventory carrying / low-profit gradesproduction). Both supply side and demand side constraints have been factored in.


Improving Quality in a Continuous Manufacturing

The solution identifies the driving factors behind end blow phosphorus in steel making. The solution recommends certain oxygen blow patterns and patterns for addition of additives such as lime, iron and dolomite to have reduced Phos content in the end steel grade. The analysis involved Curve fitting andK-Means clustering as well as Decision Tree and ANN approaches.


Production Monitoring

Our Production Monitoring solution provides a comprehensive view of Production trends against plan, Identifies product lines that have highest variance and delayed shipments. Production and Line managers can identify exact production variance. Drill-down capabilities to identify orders that are delayed and appropriate actions can be taken.
